A New Way of Helping Someone Who Has Alzheimer’s

November 2, 2020 · Leave a Comment

If you’re caring for someone who has been newly diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or some other form of dementia, Wesley Manor will be offering a free virtual presentation to support caregivers on November 10 from 3-4pm. Dr. Benjamin Mast, a licensed clinical psychologist and board certified geropsychologist, will show caregivers how they can use spirituality to enhance the communication between themselves and their loved one. Caregivers will also learn how to use spirituality as a coping mechanism. For more details and to reserve your spot, contact Linda Pike at lpike@WesMan.org. Reservations and the Zoom invite are required by November 6.

P.S. What to do if your loved one’s memory is fading.
