
Greet the fall with culture and concerts this September! Here are our picks for events to add to your calendar.

Make your Labor Day weekend festive with the 23rd annual WorldFest happening Aug. 29–Sept. 1. WorldFest celebrates the diverse international cultures found right here in Louisville. This free event features food, performances, and family-friendly cultural displays, including the Global Village that highlights customs from all over the world.
The Gaslight Festival in Jeffersontown has been a tradition since 1969. Head over to enjoy the car show, golf scramble, balloon glow, and over 200 commercial and arts-and-crafts booths. This event is pet free, but humans can visit from Sept. 4-14.
For some indoor culture, check out the performances and bands at Whitney Hall this month, including alt-rock piano virtuoso Ben Folds performing with the Louisville Orchestra on Sept. 5.

Bourbon lovers will certainly know that September is the month for Bourbon and Beyond. This big four-day festival and concert series features musical acts from all eras and genres. The Highland Festival Grounds will pack in the visitors to hear performers like Jack White, Phish, and The Lumineers. Choose from different ticket packages for the event happening Sept. 11-14.

The races are on at Churchill Downs with the September Meet. Catch live races throughout the month, and on Sept. 19, those over age 60 can enjoy lunch on Millionnaires’ Row for just $45.
