What’s Special About Senior Living?

August 1, 2022 · Leave a Comment

It’s a Friday night. After much consideration, you’ve narrowed your plans for the evening down to three options – meet up with your friends at Happy Hour, continue watching your favorite new show, or get a good night’s rest so that you’ll be ready to go for your yoga class in the morning. Just as you’re about to decide, your phone dings! and lights up. It’s Eddie’s 72nd birthday; prompting you to grab your keys and reach for the door. The hall is filled with people heading the same direction as you are. You think about what the night might hold and can’t help but smile. Happy Hour it is.

As caregivers of several senior living communities throughout Louisville, we watch this scene play out often. After all, for many, senior living marks the first time since college that their closest friends have lived just down the hall. It’s a sight that we never get tired of seeing, and one that makes us excited to come into work every day. More than just a celebration, however, being a provider of care first and foremost means one thing: ensuring that the basic needs of your residents are always being met. Here’s how.

Personalized Care. Whether you’re a family member turned caregiver or a senior who needs help with their medications, Personal Care services help ensure that everyone gets the assistance they need. In addition to having their own suites, Personal Care residents enjoy a care plan unique to each of their individual needs with the option available to coordinate care with doctors and pharmacies.

A New Adventure Every Day. There’s a lot to love about your retirement years – like the freedom of being able to do exactly what you want to do. Have you always had a love for music but never got around to picking up a guitar? At Trilogy, we offer a vast selection of Life Enrichment programs so that you can rekindle old passions while also discovering brand new ones. Whether you’re interested in yoga classes, taking trips into town, learning about a new subject, or picking up the paintbrush, we’ll be here to support whatever it is that your heart yearns for.
