An App That Remembers for You, part 3 of 3

July 16, 2020 · Leave a Comment

In a perfect world, nothing would ever get lost. But in reality, brains can be forgetful, and sometimes, important objects get up and walk away like they have a mind of their own. Luckily, technology like the below device can help you find the things you need.

Use Your Smart Speaker To Locate Important Documents

While your Google Home or Amazon Echo is great for playing music, getting detailed weather reports, and even researching interesting facts, it is capable of so much more. Smart speakers are capable of learning and maintaining a wide variety of information that might be useful to you later. You can use it to set reminders for birthdays or taking medicine, and even ask it to remember where you’ve placed important items that you might otherwise lose. For example, you might say “Alexa, remember that my insurance cards are in the top desk drawer.” Alexa will then store that information for later use, so that when you ask, “Alexa, where are my insurance cards?” the smart speaker will remind you. This would be useful for any important items or documents, such as your passport, or your grandmother’s chocolate chip cookie recipe.

P.S. With this app you’ll never search aimlessly for your parked car again.
