If you have an interest in modern art, books, or creativity, you may want to venture to Jeffersonville where the Jasteka Cultural Center sits. This modern art gallery and community space offers several programs including ABCs: Art, Books & Coffee on July 11, 2026. Attendees will discuss Praisesong for the Kitchen Ghosts: Stories and Recipes from Five Generations of Black Country Cooks by Crystal Wilkinson and look at Henry Taylor’s painting titled “The Young, The Brave, Bobby Hutton” R.I.P.
