Huber’s Fall Harvest Celebration is back! Spend an afternoon picking pumpkins, riding on the grain train, and enjoying some fall treats at this family-friendly annual event.

With more than 5,000 hand-carved jack o’ lanterns, many created by local artists, Jack O’ Lantern Spectacular transforms a quarter-mile trail in Louisville’s historic Iroquois Park into an organic art gallery. Open September 30 – October 31.

Spooky Adventures

Come see the Louisville Zoo transformed into a living storybook, complete with some of your favorite characters brought to life, fun music, and a safe place for trick-or-treating for kids 11 and under. Boo At The Zoo starts October 1 and is open Thursdays – Sundays through October 30.

For those looking for a real scare, the Ultimate Halloween Fest is open September 24 – October 31, and features over 13 acres of terror and the return of the Pope Lick Monster. Do you dare?

Entertaining Experiences

Take the kids to see Nate The Great at Derby Dinner Playhouse, running October 2 – November 6.

Pack up the car and head to Sauerbeck Family Drive-In for an evening of entertainment. Kid-friendly movie nights are offered, as well as Trunk or Treat movie nights in October.

You Won’t Believe Your Eyes

Experience the history of the Bible at Ark Encounter in Williamstown, Ky. Featuring a full-size Noah’s Ark, this unique attraction is worth the 90-minute drive from Louisville and is free to kids 10 and under through 2021.

See your favorite monster trucks in action at the KFC Yum! Center on October 2 at Hot Wheels Monster Trucks Live.
