July in Louisville is packed with music and fireworks. Whether you’re looking for something new and hot or keeping it cool, here’s your go-to list of events not to miss!
Check out Bluegrass and Booms at Kentucky Kingdom on July 3-5. This family-friendly event includes food, music, and fun. Then skip over to Waterfront Park on the Fourth for a free evening of entertainment on the Big Four Lawn. Get there at 6pm to enjoy some snacks and sounds, and stay until 10pm when the fireworks light up the sky.

Jeffersontown Beer Festival is going down July 12. If you’re a fan of craft beer, then head over to J’Town for cold brews, live music, and great food. If you need even more brewskies in your life, the Summer Beer Fest at Frazier on July 26 is like Oktoberfest, but in July. More than 200 craft beers are waiting for you along with music and games. Proceeds support the museum’s exhibitions and educational programs.
Iroquois Amphitheater is turning up the volume this month with Gen X favorite Ace Frehley of KISS fame, along with Slaughter and Quiet Riot on July 12. Check out all of the amphitheater’s concerts and movies for the summer and grab your tickets early because these might sell out.

Again, Waterfront Park is the hot spot of the season with The Big Stomp taking place July 25-26. This music festival is dedicated to stomping the stigma around mental health through music, mindful programming, and interactive experiences. Proceeds benefit The Pete Foundation, a nonprofit committed to advancing mental health awareness.
Wishing you a vibrant, sun-kissed month! 😎
