
November is the perfect month to enjoy the last of the fall colors and take a breath before the hectic holidays. Whether you love a good festival or soaking in the city, Louisville invites you to make the best of memories this fall.
Colorfest at Bernheim Forest is happening Nov. 1-2. Take the whole family on a 20-ish-minute drive out to the forest where you can find slides, a mud pie kitchen, and the unforgettable pumpkin rolling!

Churchill Downs will host its Fall Meet throughout November, featuring live racing on select days. Check out several themed events and stakes races, including Senior Day on Nov. 5 and 19.
For those of you gearing up for the holiday season, Lights Under Louisville is back and better than ever with over 7 million twinkling lights that will illuminate the Mega Cavern. The drive-through event opens Nov. 14. Be sure to purchase your tickets in advance and consider going earlier to avoid the lines.

If you want to spend a little more time indoors this chilly November, check out the performances the Kentucky Center has to offer. From artists like jazz musician Herbie Hancock to family musicals like Dog Man the Musical, there’s a show for everyone this month.
Don’t forget the Festival of Trees and Lights at Slugger Field on Nov. 14-15. Now in its 36th year, this fundraiser for Norton Children’s Hospital invites you to walk through a winter wonderland. Photos with Santa, children’s crafts, and Hanukkah activities are free with admission.
