Good news for people needing rehab
We are fortunate that in Louisville, we have some options for care and rehab we can take confidence in. This summer, Frazier Rehab Institute was ranked #40 in Best Hospitals for Rehabilitation by US News & World Report.
US News evaluated 1,049 rehab hospitals and ranked the top 50 for their care of patients.

Marriage goals: Eight decades together!
Alethea and Spurgeon Peay, residents at Village Crossing Retirement Community, marked an extraordinary milestone in August: their 80th wedding anniversary.

Alethea, who turned 100 this past June, and Spurgeon, a “young” 98, first met in their Kentucky hometown as teenagers. They “fudged” a year on Alethea’s age on their marriage license so they could wed in 1945.
When asked about the key to such longevity, Spurgeon jokes, “We didn’t know how to get out of it,” as he lovingly grasps Alethea’s hand with a smile. Alethea quips back, “Maybe it’s not too late for an annulment.”
To honor the couple, Village Crossing hosted a special anniversary celebration for residents, family, and friends, featuring music, cake, and a look back at some of the Peays’ most cherished memories from the past eight decades.
